Come and beat the winter blues this weekend with the colourful works of Fiona Ackerman in her new exhibition G L A S S L A N D S, at Winsor Gallery. Looking at the garden on canvas as both a site and symbol of imagination, the works in the exhibition provide an opportunity for reinvention and self reflection - an escape from society.“One escapes to the garden for reflection, to go into the self. One is not challenged by the garden, but freed to explore in its protective utopian safety, artificial though it may be.”
